SILENCE DECIEVES

Once or twice, I felt a real strong hope,
Now the silence prevails, I am no longer sure.
I know it is open, to my own interpretation,
But I felt sure, that your eyes had noticed.

I have asked again, the Universe can see,
Just what chances become, for my desires reward.
Hope is my hangman, in silence I wait,
A sign of your awareness, that I love you now.

Cruelty, my heart falters, for news to restore,
The beating it held, once it knew of you.
And your silence hurts, even if it is just,
My need of your love, feels like one that is lost...
