PARKLIFE

Sunshine has vanished,
Yet the warm breeze plays,
The boughs are gently rocking,
And the flowers bow down low.

The birds up high are calling,
To others I can't see,
And everything is helping,
Mother nature share her love.

Upon the lawns and play parks,
Little children shout and run,
And a Labrador, in leaps and bounds,
Chases a squirrel to its' tree.

Two boys with sticks are hiding,
To capture the Indian squaw,
When she comes along seeking,
Their chatter brings laughter.

So many folk relaxing now,
Upon the soft green grass.
It really is a joyful air,
We breath with time to pass.

I notice too, the Bumble Bee.
She glides amongst the flora,
Collecting up her nectar rich,
To transport to the hives.

A balance here is calming me,
To witness how its done,
As Man and Earth enjoy again,
The day that gives us Life!!
