Jack & Jill
Upon this fabled hill,
Once I caught a whisper.
Here was Jill caught laughing,
And here was Jack caught loving.
Jill had made love to him,
Though not as one might expect.
First he had the duty to court,
Before she gave Jack her heart.
Only then did Jill show her intent,
And fell in love for ever more.
Jack had proved his manliness,
For this is what Jill sought.
They had walked a while, hand in hand,
And felt the flow of passion stirring.
When Jack said he would take no other,
Jill showed to him, her very soul.
