Imagine for a while,
People living in peace.
Music being the food,
We eat with relish,
And a common dream,
Of acceptance and fairness.
I know it is possible,
Because I have seen,
The mood of the masses,
Changing gradually, openly.
And here this tranquillity,
Is an encouraging friend.
An unpretentious decadence,
Gives a backdrop to relax,
Soaking up the spontaneously,
Happy musical vibrancy,
All that is best, becomes,
Expressed vividly in colour.
I have enjoyed heartily,
The courtship of the populace,
Towards a clear vision,
Of a new era of love,
And swam in its' freshness,
Being the change we wish to see.
