The camouflage is a trick, to hide.
Beneath it lies the truth, of who we really are.
The clothes we wear, are our own trick,
To display who we say, that we truly are.
Strange indeed is the fact, that to the clever and the wise,
Nothing can be hidden, behind a vale of lies.
We say it's to protect, the virtues of a woman,
But as nature made us, behold ! the beauty of a woman.
Outside of our clothing, we need hide no more,
For all that we are, becomes manifest in truth.
What shame should I have, to be as I am ?
Why pretend to another, I am yet, but a man.
Some cultures accept the need to express,
How we change as the wind, no traditional dress.
Still others enforce, the rules set by men,
Saying that God will be upset, that your actions offend.
Yes religion holds blame, for the shame that we feel,
If we cannot choose for ourselves, our true spirit reveal.
Let's not fall into traps, where we're pressured at all,
Be free and expressive, follow natures own call....
Honour our own codes, BE who we really are !!
