A surprise it was, to be feeling so nice,
Whence we had met, shared a drink or two,
Gained pleasant rewards for our gentle inquiries.
A lovely smile too, quite becoming and sweet.
I began feeling refreshed, sensing your own energy,
Responding to my interest, being lost in your eyes.
A secretive aspect, I felt wishing to open,
As my desirous attentions beconed you to me now,
And you favoured me with so many glances.
A very real possibility that we could become,
As close as our toes, I witnessed from you,
I hope that together, you'd like to spend time.
