Petunia Versus Lobealia

As the Petunias, you are open and bright.
Your flower and her petals, warm as the summer.
About you caressing, the breeze does stir you now,
A tiny changing curve, defines your beauty still.

At the heart of you, Is your moist fruit,
And many come to eat and refresh of life.
That they may become manifest, far more alive.
Sustained by your goodness and wonderful healing gift.

Your bedfellow, Lobelia, a contrasting royal blue,
Enhances all about you as you soak, rain and sun.
She carries her own courage to deny you all the glory,
And the strength to share all the adoration evenly.
