What a great surprise,
That I arrive here,
First in the queue,
Ahead of the hoards,
That surely will come.
Or maybe I am,
The first and the last,
The entirety of presence,
No-one else on the horizon,
My position clearly fixed.
How can we really know,
Our position of success,
Unless we had had,
Another to show us,
Just where we stand ?
