Days of Kings

Days of Kings

History is littered,

With stories full of strife.

The way we lived,

Held no value for life.

We stole and pillaged,

All riches from afar.

The days were bloodied,

With a vicious scar.

By royal mandate,

And appointment to wealth,

Our nobles fought,

Taking it all for self.

And our kings,

And queens of power,

Made inhumane acts,

Their most finest hour.
