Lonely Beach

Lonely Beach

All alone in this huge, huge crowd.

Myriads of people smother me now,

And still I cannot feel close.

All of Essex is here, about.

And yet few will catch my gaze,

As they implore the sun above.

All manner of ways to play,

Becomes the focus of the masses,

And yet it is I who am observing.

All loving, family fun bequeathed.

These worshippers come to idolize,

And here I know the emptiness.

All hope is drawing to an end,

When I follow these dark imaginings,

Whilst light and hope go free.
