Mr Nosey

Mr Nosey

I tried not to hear the gossip,

But my ears seemed drawn in.

I now know all about Darrens’ way,

His philandering and his overinflated ego.

The shower must be very clean,

If you spend that much on cleaning products.

And then another is cheating again,

Taking the wife of his best friend.

Going to the cinema and watching Tom Hanks,

Left Amy breathless and reeling in joy.

Conrad was caught stealing from,

His mothers’ purse for the fifth time.

The man in the narrow lanes,

Dumping his unwanted tiles and rubbish.

Dreams for the holiday in Mexico,

Where all the drinks are included.

Oh I wonder, how the world turns,

On such unimportance and trivia.

But if it brings happiness within,

Who am I to complain?
