A Stranger who became a Friend

In the almost midnight,

A stranger came to be known,

To I who sat and listened,

A world turning being lost.

He smiled for a moment,

I waited for more than a sign,

But in this late hour,

Nothing raised and objective voice.

We chatted, passing time,

And found that we have known,

The friendship building between,

One man and another.

Stranger coming, friend leaving,

We knew the care of love.

What was once a rare notion,

Is now a life long connection.

For a stranger asked a gift,

And my way was to reward.

Sharing humanity on this night,

We left the fear behind.

TYE.
