Its there if you look,
Below the surface of our fear.
And knowing this may help,
Us to enjoy, all becoming clear.
Its not a very great secret,
Yet few are the ones to see,
A life of peace depends upon,
Us being the best that we can be.
Its one of loves old virtues,
To be at, the way of peace,
Care for all our brothers and sisters,
For our duty shall never cease.
Its commonplace to think of self,
And have this misguided view,
But when we think of others first,
We’ll begin to live what’s true.
Its madness not to be aware,
Of what our history has unfurled,
Without a view of all that’s past,
How could we ever save our world?
