Life could be so much more,
And our love could flourish.
If only I could understand,
What your words would imply.
The whole Mars and Venus thing,
Is a bit of a bore at times.
I struggle to make any sense,
Of the sentiments you try to show.
I really try to see above,
The pain of the words you choose.
But often, all too much it seems,
I fall, behind the veil of mystery.
A frank discussion is our only hope,
If we would function as one.
I know I want to understand,
If only I could decipher this code.
