Fountain of Hope

Fountain of Hope

See their little faces,

Light up with laughter and joy,

As the jets begin to climb,

High into the afternoon sunshine.

Thrilled by the spray,

And the chance to defy,

The parents who all deny,

The chance to feel this mirth.

Everyone of them squeals,

As if this fountain breathes,

Happiness into their eyes,

And wonderment into their hearts.

Playing with the crystal plumes,

Is such fun, such adventure,

These tiny people are free,

To know the power of hope.
