Terrorist or Saint
I cannot help myself,
From wondering what is the mind,
Of these soldiers breeding fear.
Do they seek peace,
But at any cost, even life,
And for whom do they care?
What essence of love,
Do these abominable acts show,
And what end they believe near?
Seemingly to their cause,
They become heros’, martytrs’, saints.
But what god asks this cruelty?
Terrorism does breed fear.
My fear, that these loveless men,
Will never know a better way.
Lost is the love.
For no god has asked this hatred,
An eye for an eye, tooth for tooth.
This is a god,
Created by people not knowing love.
Who believe vengeance is ever just.
I feel such pity,
For these terrorists, these saints.
Not for what they do, for what they don’t.
How do they dream,
This violence will ever have end?
Gun against gun, violence begets violence.
Lay down these weapons,
And try peaceable-ness for a change.
I label terrorist, anyone with a gun!
