Hauling Cash

Money makes the world go round,

Or so the story should go.

And here at the Banco do Brazil,

Tanks are lined up in a row.

For they must haul this heavy load,

To places near and far away.

That the flow of precious resources,

Will keep the hungry mouths at bay.

I’m not so sure this money,

Will help to feed the poor.

More likely it will keep the rich,

Safe behind their vaulted door.

The armada of yellow trucks,

Are now pulling away from the vault.

And an army of armed police,

Protect them here from an assault.
