Inner Glow
I did a good deed,
And today I felt worthy,
To be a human, being.
In your face I could see,
The gratitude and thanks,
That were my only reason.
No fancy pompous show,
Just an act of honesty,
And the kindness repaid.
And for all my efforts,
We shared a closeness of spirit,
That brought me more joy.
I hope that you know,
How grateful I am to you,
For letting me share love.
