Wheelbarrow Economies

Wheelbarrow Economies

I went out to buy,

A new wheelbarrow today.

The coming storm will,

Cast us reeling into chaos.

Then we will all need,

One to carry our cash.

Prices are climbing I see,

But quality and quantity not.

Getting less for more money,

With each new dawn breaking.

Confidence is being lost daily,

In promises to show fairness.

Once it was actually possible,

To feed ones family plentifully.

Have money left over too,

For luxuries and for holidays.

Today, most barely cope paying,

The bare essentials, like food.
