Somedays
I really knew you,
When I had just begun,
As if we had always been.
I cannot ever forget,
The light you breathed into me,
On that cold November afternoon.
It was as if angels,
Were singing the chorus of heaven,
And I was being blessed upon.
Then my mind returns,
To the misery of your leaving,
Pulled away in a blinking eye.
Now who am I,
Without you by my side to care.
No-one else could love you, half,
As much as I do still.
