Paradise City

On the hottest day, in the middle of winter,

I am being drowned by beauty, nature and glory.

But it is not with any dread I tell tales,

It is with a happy heart and wonderment in my eyes.

Oh take me down to the paradise city,

Where the fields are of green, and the girls so pretty.

Upon the local square a horse grazing, shading,

And a clan of dogs run, making fun amongst themselves.

A rhythmical beat from the speakers upon an open terrace,

And a queue at the phone, beneath a Ficus wait.

Here I am in the paradise city, dreaming,

Sitting in fields so green, surrounded by girls always pretty.

What more from a life could I ever need to fulfil ?

This day so easy, so calm and when nothing else matters.

Except that you should know about how my love longs,

That we share so much more, with a world in ignorance.
