Many souls have toiled,
To serve bread to hungry mouths,
And some have been able,
To do more than most.
The famous noble poet,
Who’s love was widely known,
Sent away in shame, his part,
A rebellion against the law,
And his Portuguese heritage.
The painter, a scenic art,
Has shown a great talent,
For capturing this historic past,
Whilst still moving with the times.
And lastly, but not least,
The ‘Music Man’ from You-tube,
Who ambles through her cobbled streets.
Squeezing life out of the accordion,
With smiles and a happy beat.
