Life is a Gamble
Never a dull moment,
And always a full bag,
My life is like roulette.
Getting up in the morning,
10-1 odds will show good,
That life is important.
Crossing the street becomes,
Like a 2-1 each way bet,
Depending on the weather.
Working for a wage,
Is like an accumulator,
So many different variations.
And breathing, well that’s evens,
For if we don’t gamble,
We are already dead.
